We are a pub with a café and bar located in the pretty village of Longden in Shropshire a few miles away from Shrewsbury. We offer you a warm welcome along with great food and drinks.
Saved For The Community
Longden Village Stores was saved from closure by a local resident, who has also acquired the former pub premises. The Tankerville has reopened as a café and bar, so the future of both businesses is now secured for the residents of Longden and the surrounding area. A Community Benefit Society, called Longden Community Business Limited, has been set up by local residents. It will raise the funds to acquire the two businesses, so that our shop, café and bar can all be owned and run by the local community on a non-for-profit basis.

We are serving some terrific Three Tuns Brewery real ale. Great pints on draft that will appeal to ale fans.
Shrewsbury Classic Car Festival
The Shrewsbury Classic Car Festival is on the Sunday 13th July. We will be there with our pizza chefs.
The Tankerville Is Officially Open
Since the beginning of June The Tankerville, Café & Bar, is officially open.
